Hay

Hay is grass, that has been cut, dried, and stored for use as animal fodder. Grazing animals can feed on only hay and gain all the nourishment they require and our hay is particularly good for horses, cattle, goats, and sheep. We also supply hay to feed smaller animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs.

Hay is an ideal feed when there is not enough pasture on which to graze an animal or where grazing is unavailable due to weather or when animals are kept in a stable or barn.

Our hay is produced from Ryegrass and Meadow grass.

Our Hay is produced from a mixture of permanent pasture and pastures which are reseeded every three years to maintain yield and quality. During the growing season, which is spring and early summer, grass grows at a fast pace. When growth is at a maximum in the field, it is cut.
